Don’t listen to the drunken ramblings of the two co-hosts who claim that this is episode 9m because it is clearly episode 8. There was some confusion on our end and so this happened.

We are starting a new shift in the way we present episodes. We are breaking away from the two subjects-per-episode format and will now be focusing on one subject at a time.

In this episode we get down and dirty with one of the greatest 2D platformers of all time and find out why this game coined the term “Metroidvania.” It’s a marvelous marriage of platformer, RPG, and exploration. Ryan also discovers that this game, much like a transformer, has more than meets the eye.
